The Halifax R/C Park Society is a registered not-for-profit organization run entirely by volunteer radio control enthusiasts from in and around the Halifax area who all share some common aims:
- To build, maintain and operate a free-to-use public radio controlled car track and practice park.
- To promote the hobby of radio controlled vehicles to people of all ages and to provide a hub for locally-focused R/C resources for those people.
These aims are only achievable through hard work by the committee, and with the support of public and private donations of funds or labour. For more information on how you can make a contribution to ongoing maintenance and improvements for the park, or if you have any comments or suggestions about how to promote the R/C hobby to the public, then please read this post and get in touch: https://halifaxrcpark.com/2016/01/29/hrcp-needs-you/. If you have used the park, and consider it a valuable asset to the hobby community, then please consider making a donation via Interac to halifaxrcpark@gmail.com.
For a list of committee members and meeting times, please contact halifaxrcpark@gmail.com. The society registration number is 3296396.
We are NOT an R/C club and there are no membership dues or park usage fees.
The Halifax R/C Park itself is located at: 1703 Beaver Bank Rd, Beaver Bank, NS B4G 1C5 (https://goo.gl/maps/npPBR)
